After years of training along side Rickson Gracie in California, Luiz and Thaigo traveled back to Brazil to start building the Luiz Claudio Combat Team (LCCT). A team dedicated to hard work, friendship, and learning some badass Jiu Jitsu and MMA. 

Now in 2010, LCCT has expanded to 5 schools through out Rio with over 15 black belts leading the team. Each and every month, LCCT is expanding worldwide to encompass schools in South Africa, England, Thailand, and the United States. 

Members of LCCT have won some of the biggest competitions in the world including Worlds (mundials), PanAms, Brazilian Championships, Arnolds, NAGA, etc. Additionally, many LCCT members worldwide actively compete in vale tudo or MMA fights.

Lastly, LCCT has a mission to give back to the community and help children of less fortunate families. Luiz and Thiago have established a Children’s Project to help less fortunate kids stay off the streets and learn BJJ. Additionally, LCCT hosts many seminars for charity that require food donations that in turn are given to local charities.
